Welcome to Longhorn Orientation

We're excited to see you at Longhorn Orientation! Orientation is required for all incoming students. At Longhorn Orientation, you'll get better acquainted with academic and campus resources, meet your fellow new students and register for classes. Learn more about the details of your specific orientation, including requirements and how to best prepare, by clicking on the appropriate section below based on your admit type.

Our mission is to lead students through their transition to the University community. We provide programs and resources that empower students to achieve academic and co-curricular success.

Spring Admits

You will complete your Spring Orientation requirement virtually, and have the opportunity to join us on campus for some fun with your classmates.

Summer Term Orientation

Summer Term Orientation is for students admitted to begin at UT Austin in summer academic term and will take place completely virtually in May.

Transfer Fall Admits
